Details: Original cover art painting by Kurt Cyrus, who has done numerous illustrations for young adult book covers and children's books. He is the author of Hotel Deep, Slow Train to Oxmox, Tangle Town, and Oddhopper Opera. He has illustrated books for Lisa Wheeler, Eve Bunting, Charlotte Pomerantz, Judith Matthews and more. This piece was used to illustrate the front cover of the Harcourt classics edition of this Winterfeld novel, first published in 1960. Includes a hardcover copy of the book, signed by Cyrus.
