I recommend this book because it is like a blend of sugar, sharp lemons, and a bowl of pepper mixed together to create an almost perfect novel. This book is about Kevin Slater, an ordinary man, who is alone in his car when his cell phone vibrates. He answers it and a man introducing himself as Slater offers him a deadly choice, “You have exactly three minutes to confess your sin to the world. Resist, and your car will be blown sky high.”

Kevin panics in horror. Who would make such a demand? He thinks. What sin? Yet unsure what he should do, he veers into the parking lot and sprints from his car, just to be safe.

Exactly three minutes later, the detonation turns his world into an abyss of insanity. And that’s only the first play in this deadly game.

I recommend this author for his astonishing fluency of words. Ted Dekker shall make me wonder how he got his gift for centuries.

He has written numerous other books and series that include the following: Blink, Blessed Child, Thunder Of Heaven, The Circle Trilogy: Black, Red, White, Showdown, and Kiss. Thr3e has been made into a movie with the same title.
